In speaking with people I've been made aware that there is some uncertainty as to exactly what it is that I am offering. In a nutshell it is this; I am aiming to be the translator between people and their financial lives. Our schools are not doing an adequate job of preparing people for all the financial decisions that are being asked to make. The end result of that is that they are left at the mercy of the financial services industry. This leads to those that work in the field living a comfortable life, while those they "serve" tend to be left holding the bag when things go awry (which seems to be happening more frequently these past few years). My aim is to be the link between all the lingo and jargon that they present to you to make you think they have all the answers, when in fact a lot of times it's just words they use to make them feel powerful and to try to put you at a disadvantage. I will be on YOUR side of things when it comes to money issues! This involves issues far beyond investments. It can be mortgage/re-financing, car buying, furniture purchase, really any issue that involves monetary decisions. So, pass the word around, there's someone available to be in YOUR corner of financial matters now.
